Multi-Chart Layout

The Multi-Chart Layout feature provides traders with the ability to display multiple stock or market charts on a single screen or interface. This functionality allows for efficient comparison of different assets, timeframes, or technical indicators side by side, improving decision-making and overall trading efficiency. With this feature, traders can monitor multiple stocks, indices, or strategies simultaneously without needing to switch between windows. This is particularly useful for tracking correlations and identifying trends across various instruments.

At GoCharting, we offer a diverse range of multi-chart layouts that allow traders to customize their workspace. You can easily analyze multiple assets or timeframes concurrently, tailoring the layout to fit your specific trading strategy. These layouts are designed to offer flexibility, enhancing your ability to monitor and compare different markets or strategies in real time.

To access the multi-chart layout options, locate the layout button in the left section of the bottom bar. For additional layout options, click on the three dots next to the layout button.

Sync Settings in Multi-Chart Layout

Sync settings in multi-chart layouts allow traders to synchronize various elements across multiple charts, enhancing efficiency and analysis. At GoCharting, you can sync key settings such as time, cursors, chart interval, symbols, chart types, and drawings. This feature is particularly useful for analyzing the same asset across different timeframes or comparing multiple assets under identical conditions.

Sync Options:

  1. SYNC Cursors
  2. SYNC Time
  3. SYNC All Symbols
  4. SYNC All Intervals
  5. SYNC Chart Types
  6. SYNC Drawings

All Sync Options

1. Sync Cursor

The “sync cursor” feature in multi-chart layouts allows traders to synchronize the cursor position across all charts. When you move the cursor or crosshair on one chart, it moves in unison on the other charts. This is especially useful for comparing price action or technical indicators at the exact same point in time across different assets or timeframes. It simplifies the process of identifying correlations or analyzing multiple markets simultaneously.

2. Sync Time

The “sync time” feature in multi-chart layouts enables traders to synchronize the time axis across all charts. When this feature is activated, any changes made to the time period on one chart, such as scrolling or zooming in on a specific date, will automatically be applied to all other charts. This helps traders compare the performance of multiple assets or timeframes at the same point in time, making it easier to spot trends, correlations, or significant events across different markets.

3. Sync All Symbols

The “sync all symbols” feature allows traders to automatically apply changes to the ticker symbol across all charts in a multi-chart layout. When you change the symbol in one chart, it updates across the others as well.

4. Sync All Intervals

The “Sync All Intervals” feature allows traders to synchronize the time intervals (such as 1-minute, 5-minute, daily, etc.) across all charts in a multi-chart layout. When you change the interval on one chart, the same interval is automatically applied to all the other charts.

5. Sync Chart Types

The “Sync Chart Types” feature allows you to synchronize the type of chart displayed across all charts in a multi-chart setup. When you change the chart type (e.g., candlestick, line, bar, imbalance, cluster) on one chart, the same chart type is automatically applied to all other charts.
