VWAP Bands
Overview
VWAP Bands, based on the Volume-Weighted Average Price (VWAP), are dynamic support and resistance levels calculated using standard deviation around the VWAP. They are widely used to understand market trends, reversals, and overbought/oversold conditions.
How to Access VWAP Bands in GoCharting
- Open your desired chart on GoCharting.
- Navigate to the Indicators menu at the top of the interface.
- Locate the Orderflow category in the dropdown list.
- Click on VWAP Band from the list to add it to your chart.

- Customizable Standard Deviation Levels: Adjust the number of standard deviations to widen or narrow the bands.

Interpretation
- Upper Band: Represents overbought levels where price may reverse downward.
- Lower Band: Represents oversold levels where price may reverse upward.
- VWAP Line: Acts as a trendline; prices above it indicate bullish momentum, and below it indicate bearish momentum.
